Tampa So Far

Ever since I can remember, creativity has been my driving force. From early days spent showcasing my art in local exhibitions to college years filled with academic pursuits, my passion for creativity never waned.

But when it came time to choose a college path, doubt crept in. I grew up in Illinois, and when I landed a spot at Appalachian State University in North Carolina, it felt like a world away.

Despite my love for art, I grappled with a limiting belief—I didn't think I could make a living off my creativity. So, I played it safe and pursued a degree in Business Management, thinking it was the practical choice in the face of mounting college debt.

But the reality was harsh. Business classes, with their endless equations and jargon, weren't my forte. I found myself struggling, and the suppression of my creative side took a toll. Post-graduation, I sank into a deep depression, feeling unfulfilled and lost.

It wasn't until a chance encounter with a friend in February 2022 reignited my passion. Watching her create art sparked something inside me, and I dove back into the world of creativity headfirst.

Since then, I've been on a journey of self-discovery, blending my creative instincts with the business acumen I gained.

And now, here I am at Tampa So Far—a platform where my creativity and business knowledge collide. Here, you'll find a glimpse into the work I've produced over the past few years. If you're curious about my art or interested in collaborating, don't hesitate to reach out using the form at the bottom of this page. Let's create something amazing together.

Did you see any art that you were interested in?

Building this website was my first step of getting my art “out there". The next step is finding local places to sell my art and continue to grow this business, however that may look like.

While I’m in this process of deciding what direction I would like to head in, please feel free to shoot me a message if there’s any art and/or commissions that you would be interested in, or if you know a place where I can showcase my work.

Regardless, I would love to hear from you :)
